Manchester City are disappointed because their performance was seriously weak this season, and I don't think they can compete with any big club after the next round of the Champions League. Guadiola will be thinking he should have not renewed his contract with the club because he didn't believe he could come down so badly in the Champions League and the league competition as well. The best thing that Guadiola will do now is to buy new players in the team so that they can perform well and help the club stronger, because am thinking many of Manchester City players are already weak and Guadiola need to sold them out in the team and bring new key players that are young, de Bruyne is not on is best form anymore and even Silva is not on is best and Guadiola need to make some decisions and sell them, and get new players to the team, am just waitdor Rodri to come back because Manchester City can't succeed with this squad this season because they are not playing like they want to win the league this season anymore.
I won't defend Mancehster City with their current state but when they can qualify for the next round I think these words can be a mistake.
The league phase and the knock out phase of the Champions League are always different especially with Pep's experience and Manchester City's mentality still well developed so in the end when they are in the knock out phase in the last 16 or quarter finals everything changes in the end. So in this case we cannot predict what happens because in the end the knock out phase depends on the opponent faced and depends on whether they are mentally ready or not.
Until now, although Manchester City have not played well because of some problems they have faced, I am quite sure that they are still very capable of competing and may even be a strong candidate to qualify for the semifinals and even finals for the Champions League this time.
