I don’t see anything bad in giving other people money when you win some good amount of money, you are not giving them so much amount of money that it will end up affecting you. Just a little amount won’t stop you from doing other things with your money, just imagine you win like $100 from gambling. I don’t think anything is bad in giving out $10 to people close to you or people you see at the place where you gambled, there is love in sharing. But I see it as a choice, you might decide to give, and if you're not comfortable with it, then don’t give.
The same for me. There's nothing wrong in giving out some of the winnings but we must always think of our family first before we think about strangers. Will there be enough money for the family if I give a portion of this winnings? Will they even accept the fact that I have given some of it?
