Yes, it is common in my area and even in my country as a whole. I think this practice was passed down from the early gamblers and embraced by the newer generations. People say that if you give to others, luck will come your way.
Maybe that belief has stuck in our minds, making it feel like something we need to do or just a normal habit. Well, I believe there is nothing wrong with this mindset if we willingly do this. Some even say it actually works but honestly, I’m not sure how true that is because even when I give, I still lose most of the time. lol
