People who are addicted will not easily be able to realize that they have limits in gambling, one way for them to find their point of awareness in my opinion is that they must be helped by being reminded that they have gone too far in gambling, although there is a possibility that this will not work but at least we have made an effort. The same thing happened to my brother who was addicted, I did this option but it didn't work and until now he still likes to gamble.
Many people have confidence in their own strategy which they believe can make them win and maybe it can work, only I think it will only work once in a while, when they have managed to win and then return to using the same strategy I think it will not be able to make them continue to win because basically there is no victory that can be obtained consistently even though using the strategy at once.
It needs awareness from the addicted person to gambling that they have a big problem that they must solve. They must listen to their closest people around them so they can see what already happened to them and try to figure out what they can do to solve the problem. When they don't realize about their gambling addiction, they will difficult to stop from gambling instead will still gambling and use more money.
They can not feel confidence with their strategy to win the game because the chance still 50:50 and the percentage will go up and down as the match running. But they must realize that trying more strategies can make them using more money which can lead them to losing that money.
Strategy doesn't work in a luck based game. In a skill based game, you also need to be lucky for you to win your bet. It's a norm that gamblers will try their possible best to come with various strategies that they feel will work for them. The fact is that your strategy will end up disappointing you, and if you want to be overconfident on your strategy, you will run at big loss before you know it's temporary.
Indeed, strategy will work for a skill based games so people should realize about that and not force them to keep trying. In the betting, they can make strategies to win but they also need to remember that winning the gambling is not easy. But if they know that having many strategies can not guarantee them to win more, they will not risk themselves and their money to place more money instead just try to use enough money that they can afford. So we should not overconfident with our strategies and use that as it was.
There is no doubt about it, in every action that we are going to do in our lives, discipline will always be the protector of everything, if there is no discipline it will be difficult for us to achieve the goals that we set for ourselves, that does not only happen in the game but in anything, that is why discipline in the game is even more important, because thanks to that we will stop losing so much money sometimes insisting on strategies or ideas that will not lead us to any victory, it is always good to consider all this so that we do not always make mistakes.
Without discipline, we will be in trouble especially if that is in gambling because we never know that gambling should not be used too often and with too much money. We will not force ourselves to search for the best strategies because that means, we will use more money which can make us losing the money. We will always be careful using our money and always remember about discipline, limitations, and carefully so we will not face any problem in gambling. We don't want to risk more money because of using the different strategies so we only spend the money we can afford to lose.
