I have to agree with you, wagering race should be simple. Every bet should be counted, without any need to opt in unless there is requirement behind the prize such as wagering requirement.
As far as I can see here, the games are also limited so only bets on the selected games are counted to earn points.
Maybe this is the reason why there is an opt in button in order to participate, because there are min bets and limited games to play.
But still, the terms they have is a bit strange if we compare it to other common wagering race.

it's hella confusing (at least for me). it's a wagering race and a raffle at the same time. with separate rules combined to one. it would have been better if they were separated.
what's even more stupid is how the raffle points work compared to other brands. instead of earning 1 point for every X amount wagered, it's based on the number of bets that meet the minimum requirements. you could do a $100 spin and will only get 1 point. (someone correct me if i'm wrong about the rules)

let's take two players with $1,000 bankroll for example. one does $0.50 spins, the other $1 spins.

player #1: 1000 / $0.5 = 2000 points
player #2: 1000 / $1 = 1000 points

player #1 will have more raffle points, doubling their chances of winning compared to player #2 even though they wagered the same amount. the raffle rules here are unfair for player #2.
that's why most casino raffles points/tickets are based on a wager, rather than the number of bets to keep it fair for all players.
