anyone can gamble, of course, but if you have more disposable income it'll fit you much better than if you don't
the problem is that it is exactly the most vulnerable people with low income that end up getting to gambling with the hope of making it, but with really little knowledge on managing risk and taking care of their own emotions...

it's a crazy world

The world itself isn't that crazy, it is us who's making it crazy by doing crazy things like betting with what we can't afford to lose. Gambling is not necessarily short cut to poverty, but it can easily become that for someone who doesn't know how to respect their own limits, how to not go over those limits they've set for themselves.
People really lack the knowledge of money, they don't value money and don't know how things work in gambling. People thought it's normal to lose something exchange for a "Chance" of winning, it's not very ideal and practical. They're the one who's very annoying too who's celebrating when won a lot but didn't remember that he loses more than the win he gained. Those are the people that loans money just because they think they can earn more or double of the money, it's very dumb to have a mindset like that.

we should learn the basics about money on school
spending less than what we earn
the difference between paying coumpounding interest and receiving
different ways to invest

many things and they're usually way less complicated than physics and chemistry
