I am of the opinion that you should buy for the game once before you can play it. It then becomes yours forever and you won't have to spend more money on it.

Like the old physical cartridges on gaming systems.   Intellivision, Coleco, Atari... I spent hours staring at their brochures growing up.

But games always have bugs (E.T. destroyed Atari) and certain games (MMORPGs) need constant updates to keep people interested.  I'm not bothered having to pay a "subscription" for a quality game, because I can always stop when the game is no longer fun.  What bothers me is buying a car then having to pay a subscription for heated seats.   Angry
