People who enjoy their jobs may not want to retire but let’s be honest here, how many people get up in the morning & enjoy going to work? Seems like a coping mechanism for people to say they don’t want to retire. I think if we were all offered a lottery win & to be able to travel the world, having fun every day, spending time with family instead, we would all take it.
We definitely going to take that when we've got some lottery money and it's all offering us to enjoy that money and life. Some may be dealing with it as a coping mechanism but I won't invalidate the feelings and thoughts of those people that really have no plans of retiring because that's how it goes for most of the people nowadays. Not everyone is privileged to have some Bitcoin money that's good enough for retirement. But even those people that have got enough and set for life, they'll not stop working for themselves because it has become a habit that cannot be erased all of a sudden until we can no longer work and have hard time in moving our bodies.
