I believe that Saudi Arabia will fail in their plan to move football from Europe to Saudi. First of all, Saudi is very hot and playing in such a hot temperature is crazy, that's why FIFA WC 2022 was in Winter and not in summer but football players will have to play during the 4 season of the year, where spring, summer and autumn is terribly hot. Also, Saudi Arabia population is 35 million people while the population of EU countries together is 450 million people.
Even with infinite amount of money, they won't be able to do that because football is not part of their culture the way it's of Europe. Moving football from EU to Saudi will take decades, maybe even century(or s).
I think that they are gambling with it and don't care if billions of dollars are wasted in this attempt.
Even though Saudi Arabia has a lot of money, I personally also think it is absolutely impossible to move the center of world football to Saudi Arabia. Because as we know, currently Europe is the mecca of world football. Because there are lots of soccer players who want to play in the clubs there. So this means that Europe is clearly the destination for world footballers. Therefore, it will definitely be very difficult for Saudi Arabia to move the direction of football from Europe to Saudi Arabia. Because apart from the factors that you and I have mentioned. The strongest factor is that a lot of history has been created in Europe regarding the world of football. Because as we know, many great players were born in Europe, who often became champions in world football championships also from European countries. So with this, it is certain that the attraction of football will remain focused on Europe. Even if Saudi Arabia spends as much money as possible, I am sure it will never be enough to make Saudi Arabia a football mecca.
In fact, in my personal opinion, in 100 years' time, I personally doubt that Saudi Arabia will become the mecca of world football. That's why I think the Saudi Arabian league is better off continuing to make the quality of the league even better. So that we can compete well with the top leagues in the world.
