A short-term contract, for example for one year, could be a solution to the problem, but at Salah's age, every year is worth its weight in gold, and there is no guarantee that the Saudis will continue to offer astronomical amounts of money.
Liverpool shouldn't even wait for a second to extend with him. Salah is having another extraordinary season despite being 32 years old. He is very productive in the PL and CL both this season.
