Ruben Amorim and the Europa League
When Manchester United hired their new coach Amorim, my advice to him was for him to focus his attention this season on either the EFL Cup he already crashed out due to weak featuring against Tottenham or he should focus on the Europa League. He must define his purpose and remain focus in order not to go trophiless this season.
I personally feel that it is easy to qualify to champions league from the Europa side than from the EPL side. The strong clubs in this season Europa are athletic Bilbao, Frankfurt, Lazio and Galatasary and Manchester United has the ability to eliminate any of the above mentioned. So, it won't be that difficult compared to EPL struggles.
With this performance there is no way. The Europa League would stay as a dream for Manchester United. But I'm not blaming it on Amorim of course. I already said that on another thread. He has no other choice than playing with the current players for now. Honestly I can't say Manchester United has a great squad.

I really don't like the attacking area for example. Rashford is out of form. I don't know if Hojlund - Zirkzee duo is good enough in the long run.
If they want to achieve bigger trophies than FA Cup then they should let Amorim cook. He should be free to bring the players of his choice. Then we would see how capable he is going to be.

I understand and agree with you, but I feel there is a great chance for Amorim in the Europa league only if he agrees to concentrate his effort in that league. Before his arrival, Erik Ten Hang was practically struggling to win a single Europa league even with some nameless clubs. But today, Manchester United is at the first batch of the Europa league in the table, they've won their past 3 Europa league matches. Besides, those clubs aren't English clubs, they'll definitely find it difficult to beat Manchester United even in their weak form.
