The problem that Manchester United currently has is that their current coach, Amorim, has not yet finished testing several strategies and player rotations which he hopes will bring about better changes, but instead it makes Manchester United seem like they are not making any progress at all. That is, in one match they are good but in another match they are bad again. And it goes on like this.
Just try to pay attention to the composition of the players in each match. The starting eleven used continues to be changed. Which means Amorim still hasn't really decided who in the squad he will actually include in the main squad. This is more similar to testing in pre-season matches. Unfortunately we are in the middle of a season that is almost in progress. And if Amorim doesn't find a suitable composition in the near future then it will only make this team fall deeper. But I hope Amorim has taken this possibility into account.
How much more time should we give Amorim to finally request getting better? I mean he is not doing better than Erik Ten Hag was doing and United fans hated ETH for the bad results, and yet they are hoping for better from someone who is getting the same results. I understand that he is "new", but it's been over a month now, nearly 1.5 months, and he has been managing the team for 9 games I believe, so it feels as if he should start becoming better already, still not getting the good results is not acceptable if you ask me. How long could Amorim hide behind "testing stuff" lie and not get good results?
I can see that it is not looking that awesome just yet, and I can see that if they do become better than that's all fine, but if they are going to just spend more money for Amorim and get bad results yet again, then I do not think that they are going to be happy. Just see how he does before starting to spend a lot, and for that reason I am against spending money on January window.
