Ruben Amorim and the Europa League
When Manchester United hired their new coach Amorim, my advice to him was for him to focus his attention this season on either the EFL Cup he already crashed out due to weak featuring against Tottenham or he should focus on the Europa League. He must define his purpose and remain focus in order not to go trophiless this season.
I personally feel that it is easy to qualify to champions league from the Europa side than from the EPL side. The strong clubs in this season Europa are athletic Bilbao, Frankfurt, Lazio and Galatasary and Manchester United has the ability to eliminate any of the above mentioned. So, it won't be that difficult compared to EPL struggles.
EPL is a domestic league that the clubs are use to the game pattern of their opponents, and that makes it easy to understand themselves in the long run. Europa is filled with clubs from various leagues making it hard for them to understand their game patterns. This is why clubs that you don't expect do win this league. Amorim needs to understand that it's easier to achieve success in Europa than EPL.
It is great that you understood with me. All these Amorim's styles that he is experimenting in EPL will not work out easily. It would have been fine assuming he played the pre-season with the boys. That is why he is beaten mercilessly in EPL if his style fails. But in Europa league where the clubs there doesn't actually know the Manchester United weakness because they don't play in England, it will be so difficult for them to take Amorim off guard. I so much believe that it is easier for Amorim to take Manchester United to the Champions league through Europa than through the EPL.
