I don`t think that instinct has something common with stress. When you`re stressed you make mistakes trying to win more or to return your loses. It is not about instinct but mostly about greed and mistakes.
But you`re right that it is near with gambling addiction and we have to pay attention to such signals.

Well yes, although to me personally if I am stressed it does affect me and more so if I play in a casino, and in any case these signs when playing and not controlling the Initial signs that are given, then quickly becomes addicted, this reminds me of a friend who is very calm, a person who does not even leave his house, very good at university, but who suddenly saw an opportunity in casinos, he applied everything he knows in statistics and told me that it was all about game theory, that he was going to make a lot of money, and in the search for that I remember very well that he was left badly, without money, it gave me a feeling knowing that at one point he Almost went without eating for a Whole day , it was a silent and fast addiction, the only way to get ahead was with the Support of his entire Family.
I don`t think that he is good at maths. It is known mistake when you get some new information and decide that you can change the world. Especially if you are young enough. But the truth is not to run faster to use new knowledge - the right way is to get more information, make some additional research, search other people who tried to do the same. It would help to avoid your own mistakes and problems.
