You are underestimating Atletico Madrid who is currently first on the table in Laliga. Atletico is on a long winning streak of eleven matches, and you call them low rank. It will shock you to see that it will be very difficult for Leverkusen to walk away with three points on that day. Atletico Madrid cannot be underestimated in this match in my own opinion too. When rating this game, it is going to be on an even level and not one team seen as more superior than the other. The champions league is the league of champions and most of this teams are playing well there even when their performance are poor in the domestic league. This two teams are not an exception and they’re doing just perfectly well in the domestic league and reciprocating the same in the champions league too.
Liverpool are a good team and they have started the season well. They have dominated everywhere from the English Premier League to the Champions League but the problem is the lack of substitute players in their squad. Liverpool will be in big trouble if for some reason Mohamed Salah or any other key eleven player gets injured. If they lose to other teams after performing so well just because they don't have support players then it will be a matter of regret for them.
I haven’t really thought of it in that manner, I never assumed that they will be affected if any of the players got injured in the squad now, I felt they were doing well and have a formidable squad and back up to help them see themselves throughout the season. If they are going to feel the absence of any of their first eleven players when he’s out injured, then they need to work on their squad more and make it a more dependable one. This is the same issue with Manchester City that they’re yet till now, not playing well as they use to.
