I don't agree with what you said about this new format benefiting Liverpool, where is the advantage? they also play the same tough matches as the others, meaning Liverpool have prepared this season well and seriously, just look at Liverpool, not only strong in the UCL but they are also strong in all competitions, there is no mutual advantage here if the club can perform well, anyone deserves to occupy the top position in the standings, including clubs that are not too favored.
Liverpool are a good team and they have started the season well. They have dominated everywhere from the English Premier League to the Champions League but the problem is the lack of substitute players in their squad. Liverpool will be in big trouble if for some reason Mohamed Salah or any other key eleven player gets injured. If they lose to other teams after performing so well just because they don't have support players then it will be a matter of regret for them.

With the transfer window open ahead, as Liverpool have a lot of potential to do well, they will need to spend some money in this transfer window so that they can replace players from the starting XI if multiple players are injured.
Planning like this might be good for them this season.

To me, I think if Liverpool gets new players now, they just do it ahead of next season because currently their squad is okay; they don’t have any bad players among them. They are a very good squad. Currently, the Liverpool squad is winning matches, so I don’t think they really need that transfer right now, and even if they do, that will be ahead of next season's preparation, or if some of their players get injured before then, if not, I don’t think they need new players to make them more stable; they are already good enough to get the work done.
