Actually, the test is clearly there even though he is currently very comfortable in the Bundesliga but for the Champions League he is in trouble especially in the DFB he has definitely failed because he lost to Leverkusen last week so in the end now what Kompany must focus on now apart from the Bundesliga is the Champions League in order to at least match his previous achievements or more where in the past few seasons Bayern have always been hampered in the quarter-finals in the Champions League.
You can talk about trophies but only those that can't be won anymore and there is one Kompany already gave away against Leverkusen.
Hm this is interesting because I don't think Kompany feels comfortable in the Bundesliga because they led with 8 points and now it is only 4 points. This means the advantage is slowly melting away and I think comfortable means something different. Kompany notices that Alonso and Leverkusen have their 23/24 shape back. The evidence is overwhelming. For Bayern a season is great when they won the Bundesliga and the DFB Pokal. It is not great when they only win the Bundesliga. Coaches have been fired in the past after winning the double. DFB Pokal out, Champions League not looking great and Bundesliga is ok, but Leverkusen is coming for them. Finally some serious action again.
