The European League does look more competitive and there are always clubs that provide surprises in this competition and if we look at the list of champions of each competition, the Champions League is indeed dominated by big clubs while the European League that has won the most awards is not a club that can be said to have a big name (Sevilla) but last season unfortunately this club did not go down to the European League after failing in the UCL group stage and this season it also did not participate, it can be said that it is a representative club of La Liga that dominates the UEL even though when appearing in the domestic league it looks ordinary.
The Europa league wasn't made for big clubs therefore I don't expect the big clubs to win it. The Europa league was made for clubs that couldn't get into the champions league where the big clubs are playing. Sevilla are top winners but they can't compete with the big clubs in the champions league, Sevilla are like the Real Madrid for the champions league as regardless of how bad they can be playing, it's almost a guarantee that Real Madrid are going to win the champions league and the same with Sevilla for the Europa league. The league mightn't look very competitive this season but you can't pick out one club to be the potential winner still.
Yes, the Europa League is for clubs that cannot get the best place in the League and they will be in the Europa League, but I don't really agree if I have to say that the Europa League is not for big clubs, it's just that maybe big clubs that are used to being in the Champions League don't feel more challenged when they have to be in the Europa League compared to the Champions League. This is a fact that occurs, although many big clubs end up being thrown into the Europa League, but the ones who become champions in the end are "ordinary" clubs.
