a very late coach sacking was announced today . union berlin sacks its coach Bo Svensson with immediate effect. the team of union berlin has already
not won 9 matches in a row and last lost against werder bremen with 1:4. it is not yet known who will be the new coach at union berlin.
the new coach should then lead the team from 12th place to the top. but that will not be easy for the new coach either

In my opinion, the steps taken by Union Berlin management are quite brave regarding the dismissal of their coach. This is Bo Svensson's first season in charge of Union Berlin, yes, the coach has not shown his good work and has only been able to lead Union Berlin to 12th place in the standings, but this is only approaching the second half of the season, besides that I see Bo Svensson quite successful. Union Berlin has become a team with a strong defense this season, he only needs to fix the attack line, that's where Union Berlin's problem lies, I'm quite sure that if they bring in quality attacking players, Union Berlin can become a team that can be respected like in the 22/23 season, they managed to occupy the top 4 at the end of the season.

But what else can we do, the dismissal has happened and we might see Union Berlin sink even further this season.

At the current stage of the league, Union Berlin should only focus on evading relegationthis season because they are not doing so well like they are known to be in the past. No doubt they have strong defense line and this is the reason they have conceding less goals this season and if they had been scoring goals while ensure they defend they way they do, their position in the league would have been much better. I only hope the adjustments being made in the club will lead to some major changes in playing tactics and put the team on the attacking side as much as they are defending.

From the current position of Union Berlin in the league the team has been struggling to win matches despite having a very solid defense, they have collected 17 points after playing 15 matches and they are currently occupying the 12th position in the league which is not a good position for a team that was doing well in the league before now. The team will only get better if their attacking force increases and they are able to play more of attacking football instead of focusing only on defense when they still losses matches at the end of the day. Union Berlin still has chances of escaping the relegation zone that's if the team is going to get better in performance but it they lose their next game against Heidenheim they may face the risk of going down to 14th position which is closer to the relegation zone. They only have to win matches and score goals if they want to remind in the league despite doing well in the defense.
