There have been many players that choose money over passion therefore if Victor Osimhen wants to go play for money, he should go ahead as I don't think there's more that he can do to win other honours to his name. He might win the league that he joins and also win the championship league but that's all as I don't think he can win the Ballon d'or. Victor Osimhen is from a poor country and his family were also poor and although he has made some money, it's always good to make more so your family don't suffer again even when you retire from playing. He should make a decision that's best for his family and not only put his own goals into consideration.

I find this very irritating. Very frequently I come across posts saying that playing in the Saudi Professional League is evil and the players do that just because of money. I never saw such posts when he was representing Charleroi or Napoli. Playing for European clubs is some sort of charity and playing in the Saudi league is immoral? What sort of logic is this? Playing football is similar to any other profession. Osimhen chose the European clubs because the salary was higher. Else he would have stayed in the Nigeria Premier Football League. And he wants to move to Al Ahli, because his salary will increase further.
i get your sentiment but the truth is that football is a career and these guys will only go to leagues that will guarantee their relevance in the future. sure, Saudi league is growing and gradually they have joined among the football region but you cant compare the league to the European league when it comes to deciding on which one should play for at his prime. the main reason for this kind of thought is purely because the English league is more popular and until things change, all the top football players are more dominants at the European league than than this league.

with a lot of investment and mouth watering salary to players, it will only take time before most of the big player gradually joins the Saudi league but that will take a lot of time and not just a wish because at the moment it still looks like most players considers this league a second option at least for the now.
