There are no GameFi projects that excite me anymore, this is a category that has lost its trend. You can see that on
Coingecko, the GameFi category is ranked 45th. That means this category is no longer interesting, besides, I don't see any GameFi projects with their buzz on X.
I understand your sentiment, but I think it's premature to write off the entire GameFi category. While it's true that the hype has died down, I believe there's still room for innovation and growth. CATGOLD, for instance, seems to be gaining traction despite the overall decline in GameFi interest. Perhaps the category just needs a refresh, and projects like CATGOLD can help revitalize it when listed on Bitget. Let's not count out GameFi just yet!
This year especially in 2024, the GameFi category does not get a large circulation and share of the liquidity that enters the crypto project market, if you look at it not only at Catgold you are talking about but Catizen, Pixelverse and the Tap to earn project on Telegram in my opinion fall into the GameFi category, but it is not interesting even though they do marketing such as providing airdrop distribution allocations to attract their customers to their projects.
I am personally quite confident that GameFi will definitely get a share of the liquidity of the crypto market, but it is necessary for big players to enter this industry such as PlayStation, Tencent or big world game developers to expand into the Web3 world, it will provide tremendous space for all projects that have been and are being built, maybe in 2025 GameFi will be revived by its community.
