No, I don't like to discuss personal finance, how much I earn from crypto or how much investment I make, too detailed even my own family I won't tell, those people will change when they know the amount of our personal assets, whether they will be evil or good, money is sensitive. However, when talking about opportunities, businesses related to crypto or others, yes I often discuss it, getting insight can come from anywhere, the most important thing is that the person or our friend is on the same path with the same interests.
There have been news of people been attacked by criminals and forced to transfer their crypto to them. These thieves were able to get information about their targets because they exposed themselves as crypto owners. One of the advantage of using cryptocurrencies is that they promote privacy to a large extent. So there is no need to discuss what you own with friends because people cannot be predicated. Your friends might not be criminals, but they can discuss with other who might have bad intentions. So the best option is to keep your worth secret from friends except you are sure they can keep it secret.
A very good and valid point is giving through because now we have criminals are getting some new methods for controlling things, and usually we have innocent peoples gone under their trap which ended on worst even we know our friends and family members but how they have gone wrong for us or our business it's all-time on cards just because of this now keeping things under scrutiny is much better for anyone.

We are living in region where criminals are well organized and also have strong links with insiders politicians and few government officials as well which give them encouragement for having things as they wanted if we want to live peacefully then surely we need to have things keep secret in few cases talking right details are also created problems.
