Chelsea's loss to Fulham and draw with Everton have really brought bad situation for them. So that they are now at number four in the ranking even I think that next two match of Chelsea easy will gonna be easy because the opponent were the Ipswich Twon and another is Crystal Palace.
Both were the team in English Premier League and that's why I am thinking these two match result could be pushups again above the Arsenal, if Arsenal stay on their current point and as well it is also easy to take back then to second position. Now it remains to be seen if Arsenal draw or lose with Brentford in the upcoming matches and if Nottingham Forest lose the match with Wolves. Although this match will be on January 7, before that Chelsea has the possibility of retaking its place at number two rank imo.
Under coach Maresca they have amazing season and their 15 matches undefeated winning streak ended by Fulham on Boxing Day surely setback for them and their chances for title race as well even still they are having good chance of keeping themselves in top ranks, but these five points are surely going to have problem for their title chances because now deficit of points is 10 points and with the current performance level of Liverpool it's not easy to cut this.
Chelsea is still had strong case of staying into top four because if we have this certainly it's going to be one of the best for them in last few years while they were badly suffering due to poor results and staying out of top ranks if we have won for them against Ipswich this could be also given good confidence to them and their difference of points from Citizens will also increase.
