Manchester City needs to do something if they want to qualify for the playoffs, and winning against PSG will really help them to qualify, and it will be difficult for them to win at the same time while PSG is also in need of the win to secure a better slot for their playoff qualification, as they are currently seated in the 25th position in the Champions League table.

However, their performances in the Champions League are almost similar, just that PSG in their domestic league is still ahead with a 10-point gap due to a lack of intense competition among the Ligue 1 teams.
Due to Champions League experience, I am expecting PSG to lose or draw to Manchester City because they always disappoint in the Champions League, and considering Pep Guardiola, he will do everything in his power to make it to the round of sixteen to save his team.

I do not trust Manchester City to win because of their recent performance. And I do not trust PSG to win because of their performance in the Champions League competition. I take the real competition is going to be between the coaches actually. Pep and Lewis Enrique. Both of them are really good coaches. both of them have achieved a lot in their career. And I think at the end of the day it is going to come down to who has better top things on that given day and is able to implement the tactics well enough. Of course, there is also a question of players being able to execute the plans. Both of the teams will go for a win in this match. So I am not expecting a draw as well.

PSG and Man City will certainly try hard to avoid sharing points, because each of them really needs it. A win will give them a path to the play-off round, while a loss will knock them out of the Champions League early. On paper, even though Man City are performing worse than PSG at the moment, personally I feel that victory tends to be on their side. Of course I could be wrong, because the final result of the match could be the opposite. The managerial qualities of Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique certainly need not be doubted, but their strategy can only work optimally if all key players are available. This match will not take place until the end of January, which means both teams have the opportunity to rediscover their best form
