Traders are not investors and investors are not traders. Traders want active tradings with their capital and investors don't want to be actively with trading, they focus on holding and let the market passively brings profit to their investment portfolios.
Traders have big challenge in themselves to manage their capital like a half split or whatever split of capital for trading and invesment. Most traders will turn their investment part to trading capital after all.
