However, I would always have understood the VIP levels (or comparable ranking systems on other platforms) as “gamification” rather than real rewards. In other words, as an incentive for the player to become “better” and reach the next level. Therefore, it would have been obvious to me that the bonuses offered were just a little gimmick to encourage players to log in even more often and reach even higher levels.
