Can you trust them with your ID and Passport, looking at their past? if you're afraid of getting kicked or targetted by the manager, then there's no need to answer (I understand).
New services have simpler verification and KYC can be completed very quickly. If you don't trust the service, you can pay another person to go through this procedure.
I'll be honest with you, if you don't trust them with your information, then just avoid them, as simple as that! And it's not only just about cryptomus, every exchange or platforms that requires mandatory KYC will have this risk. As long as it's a CEX, the risk will remain! What matters is that if they are caught in the act of selling users information! And I think there is no way to know that, who leaked what, because I assume most of us are using more than one CEXs.
TBH, I wouldn't be much surprised at this point, if some of my informations are found on the dark web! Our NID (National Identity Card) information has been already hacked/leaked in the past, and I know the information is out there in the open. But apparently, the government didn't do much, or not that I am aware of. What can we do? We are just powerless citizens!
By the way, I haven't done any KYC yet, just as Bhadz didn't. And I will try to avoid doing that as long as I can!
