They were so dominant in 2023 Champions League season that I can't see how you come to the conclusion that they are stronger this season when they have struggled so hard already in the Champions League.

Bayern Munich performance this season has been short of their performance in last 2023 Champions League. It's so bad given to the fact that the quality of players they have how is far more better than the squad that excelled well under Tuchel in the 2023 champions League. It is obvious that Tuchel has more technical ability and tactical experience more than current coach Vincent Kompany. This will be Vincent Kompany’s first chance of coaching a team like that is in the Champions League. With time, Kompany will surely adjust and make improvement in the way he managed the team so far this season.
After watching the performance of Bayern Munich in a few matches, I feel that the performance of Bayern Munich this season was better than their performance last season.
