Cmon. The life is for the strong Hearted and gambling is just a part of it. And you can decide yourself to be in gambling or not. But you can`t refuse from life. There are huge quantity of opportunities in your life, when you need courage, stamina, fortitude etc. And they are not gambling. But the thread sounds like gambler is a hero. No! Gambler is just a gambler.
Life is what you make of it, and placing gaming first is some player's life. And they may end up being the strong hearted in this line because they're not willing to stop despite the challenges. However, it could degenerate the player's funds, but to them is their life. Moreover every activity produces heroes, including military, schools, writers, sports etc. these are parts of life, yet those who made it their lifestyle most times get lucky and represent as a top personality in the field. Nevertheless to some extents gambling shouldn't be extended to a level of trying to become a hero.
Often, this is a big problem for underage kids. If one of these kids is into gambling or betting, he will strive to win. So that he can then brag to the girls and guys about how great he is, how lucky he is, and how easily he can earn money. But this is not the kind of authority that will last for a long time. As soon as such a gambler spends everything on friends, he will become a nobody again. Therefore, this is all just an illusion of heroism.
