What do you think could be the reasons that they are still gambling though?

When you are old and have enough money that you can't spend. then you can only do what makes you happy. maybe that's what the elderly feel when they come to land-based casinos even though they may be physically limited.
It is very possible that we will continue our gambling habits in old age. Especially when there are not many things we can do to be busy with work. Or if we want to stop gambling, we can do it when we have limitations that we can no longer overcome such as fitness and health.
Yes, reaching senior citizen age is never an excuse not to see them gambling at land-based casinos. Most especially if they have more money to spend, then the more that they won't limit theirselves from going into gambling.

Gambling for them is not just money making, but more on feeding their inner self with joy and fun. It gives them different kind of relaxation, most especially if they end up winning on their bets, they become even more excited to gamble again.

Maybe the problem will be different if the elderly who gamble are people with uncertain finances. Or rely on money from their pension or children's gifts to gamble. The situation may be quite bad for elderly gamblers who are addicted and can only spend money to live in casino games.
When we get older but not with good finances, maybe we should decide to leave gambling. However, in such a situation, we can hurt the people around us.
