I know that Manchester City's performance this season is still quite erratic and weak. We have seen Manchester City lose points against weak teams in many matches. But even then, I believe that Manchester City will not make any mistakes against West Ham and will be able to win. However, betting on Manchester City's victory is still quite risky.

Manchester City's past record against West Ham is very good. I checked the results of the matches between these two teams. Out of the last 15 matches between City and West Ham, Manchester City has won 12 matches and lost only one match. Manchester City players have scored 3 goals each in the last 4 matches against West Ham. Hopefully, we will see Manchester City win in the next match as well.
The record shows how good Manchester city has being over the years, but there has been some changes to their default winning mentality, which none of us can even identify. The game looks like a win for Manchester city, because for West Ham united, they can be very shitty most times. I would rather bet on smaller teams like Palace, Brighton, Fulham or Everton to defeat City, even though I can lose my money to that, rather than to bet on West Ham. I don't even know how they managed to sit at that position they are currently in on the table. West Ham of last/two seasons ago will definitely give this current Manchester city a tough time, but I don't think it is happening today, except they decide to prove me wrong, thereby doing all it takes to win or even get a point.
