The most controversial issue in cricket right now is the India vs Australia Test series. The umpiring controversy, the players' on-field fighting and sledging, the heat in the Indian team's dressing room and Rohit Sharma's absence from the playing XI in the last match and the record of spectators at the ground. This Test series is now the biggest topic of discussion in world cricket.
India and Australia have ended their first day in the last match of the series, overshadowing all the discussions. On the first day, India continued their failure like in other matches. On the first day, they gave Australia a lead of only 185 runs in the first innings, which I think is a very small target for Australia. India will have to do a good bowling innings to equalize the series and win the last match, but there is no Indian XI to support Bumrah.
Then India will have to take a big lead and set a big target for Australia to win, which is about 350+ runs. India must come out on the second day with the right plan, just like Australia is doing. The Australian bowlers are taking wickets of the Indian batsmen in such a way that it seems like the Australians have memorized the Indians. Kohli seems to have forgotten to get out differently.
Controversies and on the field issues have never been new in cricket as we have long history of things like these around this game with in this series we have some serious complaints about few outs from Indian side which is surely big problem because due to use of latest technology and having many things still having complaints like these are surely big question mark on ICC and use of this technology.
Indian team is also having many internal problems which are coming out recently as we have Gautam Gambhir as new coach and also back to back lost of many test matches at home and in Australia which are surely needed some strict action from the management for future and also needed to have all clear before next assignment because things like these surely can bring deep impact in long run on team performance.
