I was thinking about this, Inflation is quickly increasing the cost of many commodities in the market and with the many things to buy in the market most families are finding it difficult to get all the things they require to keep their family at home running smoothly. How about manufacturing companies start thinking about making products that do not just have one use case or solve one problem? In some places there are already people who are making sure that they find other uses for commodities that they purchase in the market for instance using washing soap meant for dishes for home cleaning as well. what if this becomes official to help families save cost, manufacturing items with multipurpose.
Will you purchase items with multipurpose?
Anything one can do to avoid unnecessary expenses is highly welcomed in the turbulent economic conditions of some countries. My family is also cutting costs by embracing cheap substitution instead of spending money on expensive products. We are currently focusing on buying cheap locally made goods instead of buying expensive imported products.
However I have not considered searching for a product that can serve more than one purpose. Palm oil just dropped into my mind as I was reading this thread. It could be a good multi-purpose food ingredient since it could be a good substitute for groundnut oil. Groundnut oil is popular for frying but it is very expensive palm oil can serve the same purpose.
