The problem for the Indian batting continues. Now Virat Kohli started to come on the forth number after two wickets down but still no improvement. The management letting him down in numbering because he is not in form and at the same time, if the early batsmen will make a good and strong start then he could play slow & steady and can score well. The problem is now he is not able to handle the pressure while at the same time, the opening batsmen also losing their form that creates pressure and as I said Virat is not able to play with full freedom.
It seems to me that there are some internal issues behind India's poor performance. The way the batters are performing against Australia, it feels like they have forgotten how to bat. I will blame both the coach and Kohli for Kohli’s poor form. Why isn't Kohli working on his weaknesses? This is the biggest question for me. If you look at Kohli’s recent dismissals, you can see the proof of his weaknesses. It is well known to even a young cricket fan that Kohli’s wicket is guaranteed if the ball is bowled outside the 4th or 5th stump. The Australian bowlers are targeting his weak spots and Kohli keeps getting out. Don’t Gautam Gambhir or Kohli himself notice this? Or are they ignoring it?

There is also a significant lack of confidence. Every player in India’s XI is well-proven in international cricket, and they should have been playing with confidence in the first few matches. But since the incidents involving Siraj and Jaiswal, it feels like India is heading towards controversy and losing their confidence. After this series, we might see major changes in the Indian squad. It could be the coach or some big name.
