I also think the same as you that Bayern Munich is stronger in Bundesliga and more likely to win the domestic league title than winning the UCL title which is very difficult to achieve because the competition this season is very tight maybe Bayern Munich must face Liverpool if they want to win the UCL title because this club is at its best level both in UCL and EPL it seems Liverpool will be the strongest candidate to win the UCL this season than Bayern Munich.
Bayern Munich cannot just give up for the fight of the champions league trophy so soon, they are still in the first round of the competition and in the second round been the knockout stage, anything can happen that we may see stronger teams falling and get eliminated from the competition. So, this is not the time for them to see themselves not worthy of been a champions in the competition and only put their hope in the domestic league only.
The champions league still remains unpredictable and we are going to be seeing more wonders in the competition until the finals is played, so Bayern Munich to me stand an equal chance as any other team still present in the competition and making it to the next round. Been first on the table in the first round doesn’t mean you’ll remain undefeated throughout the competition, so Liverpool can still fall even though they don’t look so.
