You’re absolutely right—I don’t have a long history here on Bitcointalk, and I understand why that might raise concerns. That said, I’m here to share updates, answer questions, and provide insights into Goated’s progress as the platform continues to grow and build. While I may not be well-known here yet, my goal is to engage thoughtfully and keep this community updated and part of the journey as Goated develops.
I wouldn't worry about this, TBH. Pretty sure majority of folks won't have a problem with this provided you affiliation with the brand is confirmed. The decision to be active in the forum going forward is a step in the right direction.
On Founders and Transparency
Goated deeply values its community, which is why I’m here to address all questions openly. While I understand the preference for fully public and doxxed founders, I will say, the team behind Goated is actually quite largely doxxed within the Web3 space and includes individuals with extensive experience in blockchain and crypto. They’re taking a Web3-first approach, which, in my opinion, sets Goated apart from traditional online platforms.
That's good to hear. Though I'm unsure where to start looking. My best guess would be crypto twitter but can't find much on the team's account. I suppose I have to dig deeper/elsewhere.
From what I’ve seen, Goated’s focus right now is on growth over publicity, prioritizing product development and delivering value to its users. This ensures that the platform is built on a solid foundation while continuing to gain attention from not only players but industry leaders. It has grown massively and purely organically which simply shows what is becoming to be.
Ideally, a nice balance of both would be the best as publicity contributes to growth as well. I would say competition in the industry is getting tougher each time thus a good PR/marketing is a must.
Angel Round Investors
To further emphasize Goated’s credibility, I’ve shared some details about the Angel Round Investors backing the platform on the main thread as well as this reply. These investors are well-respected figures in the Web3 and blockchain space, bringing a wealth of experience and trust to Goated.
Looks good. As someone who follows upcoming projects as well, backers are one of the important factors I look up.
