I feel this league would be in favor of United because this is their only hope to qualify to UCL if they can win the league. However, when the transfer window will open, Amorim will get some new players to strengthen the team and that should bring more hope for them to go far in this competition.
It is their only shot at playing in europe next season but there are other good teams like Galatasaray, Lazio, Tottenham, Porto etc, fighting for the same trophy. So it's not going to be easy for United to get pass them. It's one step at a time and Amorim has done well to get them back to a nice spot in other to qualify for the next stage of the competition. It is how United perform in the next stage that would determine if they actually stand a chance. I want to see them in europe next season and I hope they win it.
I am really hoping to see something greater from Manchester United and not only in the Europa League but also in the premier league. If premier league will be hard for him this season to scale through since he’s just a new coach, at least he had coached a team in the European competition and knows how they play it better, so that might give Manchester United some good hope in the game that they’re going to finish on a good side this season in the Europa League too. Their performance in the premier league is not as that in the Europa league, so I’m really hoping they can do something in their next match to further get their position in the Europa league more secured.
Manchester United will face Liverpool in today's match and their strength will be revealed through this. Liverpool is at the top with 45 points, while Manchester has only 22 points and they are at number 14. Manchester United has lost most of the past matches and they are at the bottom in terms of performance. However, coach Ruben is not in favor of determining the fate of the game by looking at the point table. He said that there are many better players in his team compared to the points and they can give better games with time.
However despite being at the bottom of the point table, Liverpool coach Arna Slott does not want to take the game with United lightly. It seems that the Liverpool team will be under a lot of pressure against the opponent because sometimes even very good teams have to accept fate. However, they are in a very good rhythm at the moment, especially Salah is performing well and scoring goals continuously.
