Amorim has no chance to get the Champions League through the Europa League because Manchester United are too weak to do it. Moreover, I think Amorim should focus on the Premier League because they are doing so badly there that if Manchester United continue to lose, Amorim could lose their place much faster than it was initially expected. I don’t think it’s wise to spend energy on the Europa League when they are only 7 points away from the relegation zone in the Premier League.
Judging by Manchester United current former, this can be very much acceptable but judging from football perceptions of the fact that anything can actually happen at almost anytime is another thing that we me need to put in to consideration, you may wo der what I mean by this and this will be s typical example, last season in the europa, we had bigger teams like Liverpool and the least expected team won the title so who knows such could be with the cas of Manchester United this season in the europa and of course if they do, it's an automatic ticket to the UCL. So Manchester United could prioritise the Europa and cease that opportunity to create better ones for themselves.
But that is quite a long shot to assume that Manchester United could win the Europa League. Yes it would save them the season as they would still have a ticket to the Champions League, but is it realistic? I don't think so as their performance is far too erratic to draw any conclusions yet about how they potentially finish in the Europa League.
There are a couple of strong teams and I think Lazio and Athletic Bilbao both have a fair chance to win the competition among some others. Teams like Tottenham and Real Sociedad can't be underestimated either. Beating Spanish teams away from home is a tough one and Bilbao can be brutally strong at home.
