It is not about winning, it mostly about playing for fun, chill with the friends. And i always repeat - even with small bets we can lose much money if we don`t control it. And it would be better if we calculate possible expenses before the start.
Indeed, everything depends on ourselves, now if we do not have good self-control, then gambling with low stakes does not rule out the possibility that we can lose a large amount of money because the absence of good self-control allows us to continue to deposit money into gambling even though it is clear that defeat is more common than victory, even this can be an impulsive action that is done repeatedly even though we already know what the ending will be like. It is better if we can have a limit on the finances deposited into gambling, by setting this financial limit we can minimize the big losses that can occur, I know this is difficult but we must be able to set it with discipline to prevent unwanted things.
I always recommend to set two limits: time limit and money limit. If you reach even one of them - you stop the game. And if you`re losing but want to play some more time - you can decrease stake to continue the game(but you must understand that you have not enough money for the rest of the time). As for me it is the best strategy with low stakes - you don`t spend all you time for the game and don`t get problems with family and don`t lose lots of money. In such a way the gambling brings mostly positive emotions.
