I have a few grams of physical gold but proportionally it is almost nothing next to my bitcoin. If you are in this forum and you believe in bitcoin, buying gold is to stop allocating that money to the winner to allocate it to the (future) loser. About the future we cannot be sure but I think it is quite plausible that bitcoin will largely demonetize gold and overtake it in market cap in a few years. So, it doesn't make much sense to buy gold as an investment. I will keep what I have because it's nice, it's cool to touch and I think it will always keep some value, but I will not buy more.
