Staying awake and trading when others are sleeping is the fun and shows seriousness in what you do as a trader, I believe we all are different, and my type of person will prefer to stay awake and trade when naturally I should be sleeping because every other persons are asleep, and the reason for this is because I hate being disturbed, being a family man with wife and kids, not every time in the day will be convenient to trade, infact, if you miss trading in the night when children and wife is asleep, you may not have a single opportunity to do so in the day when every one of them is awake and making alot of noise.
So, for me, I do sometimes stay up all night trading, and I enjoy it.
It's better trading at night and finding time in the day to sleep, than sleeping in the night and finding time in the day to trade.
Probably because you have just started trading. Or probably because you are not a scalper or a day trader. Either of the two reasons is the reason you do not understand. Or another reason could be because you sleep more during the day or wake up late in the morning. Regardless of which one it is, what that is important is that you should be getting the appropriate hours of sleep daily. But if trading is not letting you to get it, try to adjust because it can affect your health.
Before that I totally agree with what you said when starting this thread, yes health is wealth and without health there is no wealth. This is the same as what I see in my environment, rich people who cannot enjoy their wealth because of the illness they suffer, for me it is very worrying. And I even think it is better to be simple but can be healthy and can enjoy whatever I want.
Yes, maybe everyone is different, but it is better to consult a doctor to discuss this. What I have recently learned is that our bodies not only need sleep to regenerate the body but our sleep must also be of quality. Well, from what I feel, sleeping at night feels more quality, even though it may only be 4/5 hours, different from sleeping during the day even though I sleep longer, it feels like something is missing. I just share what I feel.
