Nottingham Forest performance was extraordinary, after winning over Wolves, they managed to match Arsenal points tally and are 6 points behind Liverpool at the top of the standings. After Newcastle and Aston Villa made surprise appearances in the top four in the previous two seasons, it is now Nottingham's turn to provide competition in the Champions League zone. Six consecutive wins indicate they are not a team to be underestimated, on January 15 Nottingham will host the league leaders who in the previous meeting they managed to win when playing away at Anfield.
This is one among the reasons why Premier League is the most competitive league in Europe. Every season, you see new teams that'll bring surprises to the league and qualify for Europe competition in the next season. Nottingham Forest has now become more consistent than even the suppose big clubs. Their present management is building a great team with the little resources available.
Kudos to Nuno for the good things he's currently doing now at the forest. He's actually one of the underrated coaches in the Premier league but the man is cooking every team that comes his way and climbing up the table gradually. It's funny how the Wolves got lost in the Forest and swallowed three goals in their own backyard.
