Even if the ticket fee is cheaper, it's the performance of the players that will encourage their fans to come and watch them. If the team is always losing, that will demoralize the fans to spend more funds to watch them. However, if United pick form, people wouldn't hesitate to spend that funds on watching and enjoying victorious matches.
I agree on that mate because I can even put myself as example because if I have so much love on a club and they became too unreliable in terms of there unending losing I will definitely reduce paying tickets to watch them because sometimes is not even whether the tickets is cheaper or not but is about how embarrassed I could be on the stadium putting on the Jersey everybody is making mockery of, so on that case is better watching through TV than in physical, so you don't see anybody to upset you, but if however a team is playing very well a fan can spend any amount to watch them even if there are no more seats they wouldn't mind standing.
