In last several seasons we have continued to see the underdog team in the title race, although in the end they may still fail to achieve the trophy as happened to Aston Villa last season, this season Nottingham Forest replaced Aston Villa where they have been a surprise team that has so far performed optimally and consistently in the Premier League,  only 6 points away from Liverpool Of course, currently Nuno Espirito Santo's squad can be said to have a great opportunity to realize this difficult dream, but with the record they must be able to maintain their consistency and performance until the end of the season, but looking at the toughness from of the big teams, I actually doubt if Nottingham Forest will be able to perform consistently in the second half of the Premier League this season.
True. The Premier League always provides surprises, after Aston Villa last season who gave a surprise, now the former 2-time UCL champion Nottingham Forest has given a surprise, it is indeed difficult for them to compete with Liverpool, especially since the season is still long, but in my opinion their current target is to be able to enter the top four positions until the end of the season. If this is achieved, then Nottingham Forest's long wait to be able to play again in the UCL league will come true. For me, if you look at their performance lately and continue to be consistent, they can break into the top 4 positions.

Actually, this season the surprise is not only Nottingham Forest but also Bornemouth who gave a surprise, both teams have performed very impressively so far, this is proven by Nottingham Forest who is in 3rd place while Bornemouth is in 7th place, only two points away from Man City who is in 6th place. Mediocre teams like Nottingham Forest and Bornemouth are certainly more focused on the league, this will benefit them to maintain the fitness of their players so that they can continue to perform consistently. This is very different from big teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City, they are still struggling with many competitions with a tight schedule that is tiring so that it will affect their performance.
