In the Champions League, Bayern Munich has so far been able to be in the top ten and there is indeed a possibility of being in the top eight zone after playing two more matches in the standings. But I am more convinced that Bayern Munich will be stronger in the Bundesliga than in the Champions League because the pressure that Kompany must accept in the Champions League is still much greater than in the Bundesliga. So I am a little less sure that Munich can go far in the Champions League, but if it is just in the Bundesliga, I am still quite sure that Munich can maintain its top position until the end of the season.
That's because the mentality built by Kompany is not yet able to compete on the Champions League stage and also Kompany is not an experienced coach so I think everything takes time for Kompany to make progress with Bayern Munich and in his first season we also have to appreciate what Kompany has done, there have been many changes for the better, that must be acknowledged.
And for Bayern Munich in the Champions League this season I don't think they can go any further, so don't expect much from Bayern Munich.
If I am not wrong, this is the first time Kompany is being part of UCL with any team he managed. Did he had a period where he was at UCL before Bayern Munich? I mean we know he didn't last season with relegation, but did he any before that? I think not, which means that this is his first time ever managing a club that is on UCL and right out of the gate he is doing that with literally a sextuple winner team.
This is why I believe that we are going to end up with a much better result if we are careful, and for that reason I believe that we need to do much better with whatever we have, and can't focus on anything else. I get that it is not that crazy, and I get that we are looking at a much difficult choice here, but Kompany just can't be Bayerns coach at all, he is just not that good. I get that you can't fire him right now, that would be weird looking, he hasn't exactly lost anything yet, but by this summer, he will be fired without a doubt, I am sure of it.
Again people complain about Kompany and why he started working in Bayern Munich. We are sure that Kompany is still a young coach and maybe he should work much harder to be an experienced coach to be able to work in bigger teams. That's why we know Kompany starting working in Bayern Munich was not a good idea but don't forget that Kompany was not their first option. They had many other options but they didn't accept and in the end, Bayern Munich had to hire Kompany since Guardiola advised the Bayern Munich management to hire this coach he is not a bad coach and he had a good performance so far, at least he was much better than Tuchel.
