Now my question is, who are the ones generating the most revenue for the gambling industry and its owners, the people who gamble only for fun or those who gamble both for fun and for profit, all the rising population of gambling addicts?
Most of gamblers is not addicted rather just using gambling as source of entertainment or fun. There’s no way to measure what’s the actual sizes of the 2 categories that you mention but one thing is for sure here that addicted gamblers has lesser quantities compared to gamblers seeking entertainment since casino will surely have a petition to take down if there’s a lot of affected gambler due to addiction.
I'm just asking out of curiosity to know if there are fewer gambling addicts in the industry; will we still be seeing the kind of massive numbers of new casinos emerging every now and then, or will the old and reputable ones just upgrade to suit the demand of the customers?
I think you are using the wrong subject here. Gambling enthusiasts is the one who’s making gambling industry. Gambling addict is just a minority. I’m assuming gambling addict as the one who has problem on their gambling urges control.
