Tottenham 1-0 Liverpool
Has Liverpool lost a truck like Manchester City? Liverpool did not play well in the last two matches. Manchester United was not in good form. Even then, Liverpool failed to win the Premier League home match. The match was drawn 2-2.
The semi-final of the EFL Cup was quite important for Liverpool. The opponent was Tottenham, a renowned team. This is true. However, in the last few matches, we have seen Tottenham's weak and irregular performance. I expected Liverpool to win this match. However, Tottenham won the match by a margin of 1-0. Liverpool's players played well. They created many attacking opportunities. But the attacking players completely failed to break Tottenham's defense. As a result, despite 7 on target shots, Liverpool's players could not score a single goal.
I am likewise thinking in same direction as you about Liverpool's roller coaster campaign seeming like getting to the end of its way similar to that of Manchester city because for a team that's said to be in one of their best form for the season it was expected that they wouldn't find much difficulty in beating Manchester United but they simply had to settle for a draw in that game. And now to the EFL, Tottenham, a team that have been so inconsistent this season and fair to say beneath Liverpool but still managed to beat the Reds 1 nil.

I am sure if Liverpool gets to lose further points in their next game it is going to affect the teams psychology as did on Manchester city and it's going to cost them their chances of maintaining the top position on the table because checking the points difference they're just 6 points away from Arsenal with Chelsea also in the picture. Interesting times seem to be ahead!
