The results were beyond our predictions. because I also hope Liverpool can get lots of trophies this season. And I also want to see Liverpool succeed in the EFL this season, just like last season. But yeah, this season it seems Liverpool also has more important priorities, namely the UCL and the Premier League. So, in my opinion, losing in this match is not a big problem. And it also doesn't mean that this team is starting to lose its performance. because I am sure that in the UCL and in the Premier League Liverpool will continue to play better. Hopefully what happened to Man City does not happen to Liverpool.
The defeat in the match was not a much bigger problem for Liverpool because they still had a chance in the second leg. All Leagues are a priority even though the Champions League and the Premier League are big targets for Liverpool and I saw only four players who were not rotated into the second half by the coach. The match was fierce and Liverpool also dominated the match, only they were unable to finish the opportunities that existed, while Tottenham managed to take advantage of the opportunity to score one goal even though they were under pressure.
The second half Tottenham will travel to Anfield and there is still a chance for Liverpool to win the match because I believe playing at Anfield will be much different than playing at home and the chance for Liverpool to win the match is much greater because they will play in front of their own fans with full support.
