Sport bet is unpredictable and we should not be surprised that even at the dine minute, anything can happen which could make the game either favorable or unfavorable. This is why we need to be strong and be ready to accept any result that we see without bothering ourselves too much. The cashout option is always available for anyone that wants to take partial profit and forget about the outcome of the remaining game.

As gamblers, we need to be strong once again because their can always be an addictional expectation that will make us keep going rather to be panicking just because the team we choose to win or lose is not getting enough that could influence the outcome we all expected. The cashout option could help anyone that jd ready to give up on the overall outcome of the bet they have chosen if their fate is not strong enough to keep them going.

Yes, the cashout option can be quite tempting especially when we are going to win the bet.
I would personally, still choose to cashout because of the frequent losses I have faced in the last moment of the match.
May be it was just a bad luck but I guess a guaranteed win is still better than 50-50 chance of win/loss to me.
The cashout option is meant to be very tempting to bettors, and this is because like you said, losses are more frequent in sports betting, as well as gambling, So whoever and whenever a gambler is an opportunity of choosing to either walk away with something with guarantee, or wait to take ultimate prize without any guarantee that they would end up having the ultimate prize, most would prefer to walk away with whatever amount is offered to them as a cashout.
I myself never ignore a cashout when ever i see an opportunity to take it, most especially if the cashout amount is higher than the amount of money i spent on the bet, whgich simply means that i am in  profit.

And for the records,
