There will be no 'second chances' for mixers because Theymos does not want the forum to be seized by Feds and forum users investigated for campaigning for mixers. It has nothing to do with whether the Trump administration might be more friendly to crypto. Besides, the mixers did not do anything wrong in the first place, so why call it that?
That certainly seems to be the case, regardless of how crypto friendly the Trump administration might be there will no second chance for mixers. It looks as though theymos took the step as a pre-emptive move in order to disassociate the forum from mixers probably because of fear it might be sanctioned in some capacity.
As for mixers not doing anything wrong, that is true in most part. Most mixers seem to be providing a service to provide privacy for the end user but some were nefarious actors. He made the decision, it seems he will stand by it.
First, we don't know if theymos banned mixer on the forum due to the issues that lead to shot down of some mixers during Biden's administration or maybe he just did it as a precaution because of how strick the government were. For now, there's no evidence yet to allow mixers here until we see how well Trump will treat Bitcoin during his administration.
